KOTUS UPDATE!

Last week, the Kids of the United States teamed up with Our Children’s Trust (https://www.ourchildrenstrust.org) to send a message to the government that kids’ health and safety and future of our Earth is more important than fossil fuels and profit. Our Children’s Trust is suing the Trump Administration and some state governments on behalf of kids like you to “secure the legal right to a stable climate and a healthy atmosphere for all present and future generations.”

That sounds a lot like KOTUS’s own motto: We are the Kids of the United States and we deserve a clean and healthy future!

Seventy members of the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence wrote postcards of thank to Rep. Joseph Salazar of Colorado for choosing kids’ health over fossil fuel. Take a look at the postcards here.
