Join the Earth Day/Climate March Postcard-Power Party
No Matter Where You Are!
On Earth Day and on April 23rd, KOTUS is hosting Postcard-Power Parties. We want to send loads of postcards to 2 people: Ivanka Trump, Donald Trump's Daughter and Grant F. Reid, CEO of Mars Corporation which makes M&Ms, Snickers, Starburst Chews and other candies.
Why?
Because we think that Ivanka will read your postcards and talk to her father because she has kids who are also Kids of the United States.
Because Mars is one of the companies that believes in climate change and clean energy and we need to thank them.
Here is a list of things you can write to Ivanka.
Write them all or choose one or two.
Pollution is not good for any living creature.
Climate change is real.
You have children. Don’t you want them to have clean air and clean water?
Please ask your father not to destroy the EPA. We need it to keep our air and water clean.
Please ask your father not to sign bills that hurt animals.
Do it for your kids and for all kids.
Here is a list of things you can write to Mr. Reid.
Write them all or choose one or two.
Thank you for caring about clean air and clean water.
Thank you for working to fight climate change.
You can also tell him you love Mars candy if you do.
Add your own words. Draw some pictures. And don’t forget to sign your first name and your age, like this: Mariana, age 8.
And please use this as the very last line of your postcard:
We are the kids of the United States and
we deserve a clean and safe future.
We are stronger as the KOTUS team!
